If you haven't been keeping up with tech news, let us clue you in: Portland is the west coast's newest booming tech hub. With Seattle to the north and San Francisco to the south, the Silicon Forest, as it's now known, has become a magnet for homegrown tech startups and mid-size firms, as well as huge companies that you've certainly heard of—Google, eBay, Yahoo, Airbnb, and Salesforce.com all have offices here. According to the Technology Association of Oregon—and a quick search on any job posting board—these companies contribute to the thousands of vacant, high-tech jobs in the Portland Metro Area.

The Portland tech market is hungry for well-trained, passionate, professional-grade programmers. We believe that hands-on guidance and intensive study and feedback are paramount to growing the talent pool. Rapidly growing tech and startup markets heighten the city's need for professionally trained web and mobile developers. Students can study in-demand programing languages, whether they are starting from scratch in Code 101, building on their experience in Code 201 or Code 301, or taking their experience to the professional level by applying straight into a Code 401 course.
