Bootcamp students celebrate Code Fellows graduation

Thirty-one Code Fellows graduated from iOS and Ruby on Rails bootcamps today after presenting their final group projects from this past week.

iOS, with 15 students, joined the 16 Ruby on Rails students in the Easy classroom to receive their certificate of completion and Code Fellows pin.

Prior to the ceremony, the two classes presented their group projects they’ve been working on during project week. Projects ranged from e-commerce sites and inventory management systems to games and audio recording applications.

One group of students from the iOS bootcamp created an app that allows users to play a boxing game hands-free, similar to how a player interacts with a Kinect. Another group designed a game that helps users learn Objective C.

In the Ruby on Rails bootcamp, a team created a website that collects and organizes helpful resources for anyone who wants to learn different coding languages.
