To provide additional options and support for our students, we’ve partnered with Climb Credit.
Climb Credit offers affordable financing for any combination of 102, 201, 301, and 401 courses with high approval rates and low monthly payments. Students can apply online on their own or with a co-borrower for any of the following options. You can also use our loan calculator to see your payments or use our interactive quiz to determine which option is best for your situation.
Pay as you go
Weekly or monthly payments over course duration
Pay the tuition over the course length through recurring cash payments with no interest or fees. Since this is not a loan it doesn't require a credit check. The total tuition must be paid in full prior to completing the course. Payment plans are by course.
For students looking for affordable interest rates, starting at 8.99%, Climb's Loan offers the longest loan term and lowest monthly payment option for students. There are 2 payment schedule options (listed below) and there are also never any prepayment penalties, so you can always pay off your loan sooner! Loan amounts can be as low as $3k.
Interest-Only Option: Affordable payments in class and during your job search.
This option allows for smaller monthly payments during and after class, so you can focus on gaining skills for your next career before you start making full payments.
Fully-Deferred Option: Learn Now, Pay Later
This option offers $0 payments for 6 months—giving you plenty of time to focus on gaining skills and starting your next career.
Pathway Payments: 0% interest & no fees
Pathway Payments are great for students who prefer a higher monthly payment in order to avoid any financing cost. These short-term loans carry no interest or hidden fees. All students, regardless of credit, are able to be approved, subject to age and residency requirements.

You’re working hard to plan out this major life change, and we want to help. We offer an early-bird discount to anyone who is accepted to a 201 course, signs their contract, and pays the $500* deposit at least four weeks before the first day of class.
*The discount is forfeited if you make any changes to your 201 course-plan within 4 weeks of the start of class and cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Veterans using VA Funding; Ch 33 (at 100% eligibility), CH 31 or Vet Tec are not required to pay the $500 deposit. However, they must have submitted their Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or Education Eligibility Status and DD214 documents at least four weeks before the first day of class in order to be eligible for the early-bird discount.
For applicants who have committed to a 201 course prior to enrolling in a 102 course, they will receive a $500* credit towards their 201 tuition, in addition to having their seat in the course reserved.
*The discount is forfeited if you make any changes to your 201 course-plan after you enroll in 102 and cannot be combined with any other discounts.

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and the applicant's ability to meet the requirements of the course and scholarship application. Whether you are a career changer, recent college grad, female, code school student looking to join a better program, military veteran, unemployed or underemployed, we want to help you find a rewarding new career in tech.
Once you've submitted your application for a Code Fellows course, you're ready to apply for a Scholarship. Once you have submitted your application, an admissions team member will follow up to schedule an interview with an Admissions Advisor. Be sure to let your Admissions Advisor know that you’d like to apply for a scholarship so they can send you a link to the application, which involves a series of short essay questions (scholarship deadlines are listed on the Course Calendar).
Our admissions team will reach out to you two weeks before the start of a course to let you know if you received a scholarship.

The VET TEC program was designed by the federal government and is offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and it’s all about getting veterans transitioned into the tech world as quickly as possible. It can be used alone, or in conjunction with the GI Bill®, to augment what’s available to you and cover things like housing or the full cost of your tuition.
In order to qualify for the VET TEC program, a veteran only needs one day of their GI Bill® benefits available, and they must apply for a VET TEC Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to be approved for the program. One of the requirements of the program is that you have to find relevant employment (as defined by the VA) within six months of graduation.
At Code Fellows, funding from the VET TEC program can be used to cover tuition for either a Certificate of Cybersecurity Engineering or Certificate of Software Development. These certificates total 720 hours including lectures, lab, coworking and collaborative projects.
All 401 courses are designed to ensure you have the technical and professional skills needed to ensure you are job-ready upon graduation.
The Worker Retraining Program serves those facing unemployment or imminent layoffs. It provides funding for eligible unemployed workers to pursue training and ultimately regain employment. Qualified students may receive financial assistance to help with tuition, covering up to 15% of the total tuition cost. The program is administered by the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.

To determine if you are eligible for the Worker Retraining Program, please start your course application. Once this has been completed, our admissions team can send you a link to a survey that will address the specific qualifications for the program to assess. If you meet the initial qualifications, please provide the appropriate documentation to your Admissions Advisor prior to starting the course to verify your status. Once we confirm your eligibility, we will let you know how much funding is available to you. Funding amounts are up to 15% of total tuition costs and are reflected on the tuition invoice.
This program provides employment readiness opportunities to Basic Food (SNAP) recipients who are not participating in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
Through this partnership, qualified students are eligible to enroll in our 101, 102, 201 and 301 courses at no cost.
